When Lodi Physical Therapy became part of Golden Bear Physical Therapy, its front doors on South Ham Lane had to carry both names. Returning patients needed to recognize the practice they knew, new patients needed to see the Golden Bear brand, and everyone needed to know when the clinic was open, so no one would arrive to a locked door.

Both entry doors are lettered in white vinyl, which stays legible over reflective glass, in a classic serif type that matches the GB monogram. The left door has the GB logo, Golden Bear Physical Therapy Sports Injury Center, Inc., the website and the phone and fax numbers. The right door repeats the GB logo over LODI PHYSICAL THERAPY, A GOLDEN BEAR COMPANY, followed by the clinic's weekday hours. Splitting the information across the pair keeps each door uncluttered and readable from the walkway.

Hours-of-operation graphics are among the simplest signs a storefront business can have and among the most used. For a practice going through a name change, they also do quiet work, keeping longtime patients connected to the new brand.
